Recycled Art Contest

Recycled Art Contest

Deadline has been EXTENDED to Wednesday, March 15.

We are now accepting entries for the 2023 Recycled Art Contest!  Please download the contest flyer and student submissionform for more information.

The goal of this mixed media contest is to bring awareness to one of our most challenging environmental issues: litter. When it rains, stormwater runoff carries litter directly to our most precious and limited water resources. To highlight the litter problem in our communities and to encourage environmental stewardship, participants will create and submit original artwork by using recycled items.

Congratulations to last year's contest winner, Navarakshana Thirupathiraja, a student at Creekview Elementary School! Her artwork, titled “Nurture Nature, Do Not Litter” showcased our connection to our water resources and the impact our actions can have on all aquatic life.

WINNER - Nurture Nature Do not litter
