The Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Court Jr. Deputy Summer Internship Program is an initiative of Clerk Cathelene "Tina" Robinson to expose high school students to careers in local government. Interns in this highly esteemed non-paid internship program gain hands-on experience, interviewing skills, life skills training, and career development to help prepare them for the workforce and potential careers in local government.
The Jr. Deputy Clerk Summer Internship Program started as a partnership with the Office of Workforce Development. In 2011 Clerk Robinson decided to expand the program to include interpersonal training, research projects, work experience, and academic enrichment to fulfill community service hours required for high school graduation. In 2012, the program was expanded further to include exposure to local community events and meetings with government officials at the city, county, and state levels.

The Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts must receive your completed application packet (including the application form, short-answer questionnaire, confidentiality form, and two recommendation questionnaires) by this date via email to the Program Administrators at Jr. Deputy Clerk Internship Program. You will be notified of the selection committee’s decision whether you will move forward to the interview phase by April 22, 2022. All interviewed applicants will receive the final decision no later than May 13, 2022.
