Qualifying Fulton County residents outside the City of Atlanta can apply now to receive up to 18 months of COVID-19 Emergency Assistance. After program updates made in August, there is no longer a cap on maximum rent payments per month. 

Qualified applicants can now receive: 

• Up to 18 months of rent in arrears (no maximum); or
• Up to 15 months of rent in arrears + 3 months of future rent

Utility assistance is also available for up to 15 months for eligible applicants. The maximum time period is 18 months for any form of assistance. 

Fulton County Government reopened its COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance application period on August 2, 2021, providing an opportunity for residents in need of rental and utility assistance to apply for relief. 

Resident can apply now by visiting the Fulton County website at www.fultoncountyga.gov/renthelp or by calling 855-776-7912 to speak to a live agent. 

Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time to assist callers with completing their applications.
