COVID-19 Vaccine: Myths vs. Facts

Vaccine development was too fast, so it can't be trusted.	Hundreds of millions of people have already received COVID-19 vaccinations. The longer you wait, the greater your chance of becoming infected from COVID-19.
I already had COVID-19, so I'm good	Even if you already had COVID-19, you still need to be vaccinated. It's true that your body does build up some natural immunity after you are sick, but vaccines protect better and longer.
Vaccines give you COVID-19	The COVID-19 vaccines do NOT contain live virus and can't infect you. You might have some mild side effects for a day or two, which is normal.
COVID-19 Vaccines alter your DNA.	COVID-19 vaccines don't interfere with your DNA and cannot change it.
These vaccines are still experimental.	The science used to make COVID-19 vaccines have existed for decades, and the vaccines have been tested in the largest vaccine trials to date. They have been proved to be both safe and effective.
COVID-19 vaccines aren't for people who look like me.	COVID-19 vaccines are for everyone 12+. The COVID-19 vaccines used in the United States included the largest clinical trials of any vaccine ever, including people of all races and ethnicities.
My faith is strong, so I don't need a vaccine.	People of all faiths have been affected by the COVID-19 virus. When people are vaccinated, it is safer to come together for worship and fellowship.
Vaccines Cause Infertility	Vaccines do not affect the reproductive system and do not cause infertility.
