Residents in North and South Fulton County will soon get a lesson in how to conserve rain water for their home gardens. The Fulton County Public Works Department is partnering with the City of Alpharetta to host two Virtual Rain Barrel Workshops and Pick-up Events in April.
Participants in the free workshops will get to take home a barrel and installation kit to begin collecting rain water for their gardens. Following participation in the virtual workshops, participants are invited to attend a rain barrel pick-up event. The schedule for each is as follows:

Vehicles used for the rain barrel pick-up must be able to transport a 55 gallon drum. Pre-registration is required. Login information for the Zoom Workshops will only be sent to registered participants.
