Early Voting and Election Day Voting to Overlap at One Location

October 08, 2019
Only voters assigned to Wolf Creek Precinct should cast their District 6 ballots at that location

Tuesday, October 15 is Election Day for the Special Election Runoff for Fulton County Commission District 6 and Atlanta Public Schools District 2.

Early voting will take place for these races through Friday, October 11 at five locations from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Election Day, it is required by law that all eligible voters in those races vote at their assigned polling place.

Tuesday, October 15 is also the first day of early voting for the November 5, 2019 Municipal Election.

The Wolf Creek Library is both an Election Day polling place for the aforementioned Commissioner District 6 election, as well as an early voting site for the November 5 Municipal General and Special Election. Early voting and Election Day voting will occur in separate portions of the building using separate election equipment, requiring voters to check in twice.

Voters who are assigned to Wolf Creek as their Election Day polling place who also wish to cast their ballots in early voting will check in separately for that election. Any Fulton County voter living in a city with a municipal election in November can vote early in the municipal elections at Wolf Creek Library. Only voters assigned to the Wolf Creek precinct should participate in the Election Day voting for Commission District 6 at that location.

No other Early Voting locations will be used as Election Day polling sites for the Special Election runoff. No ballots for the November 5 municipal elections will be available at any Commissioner District 6 Election Day polling site.
