Jobseekers of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds can benefit from additional training to increase earning potential. Through a federally funded program, job seekers who meet eligibility requirements can receive funding to attend approved programs to obtain a:

• CERTIFICATION 
• LICENSE 
• DEGREE 

Approved programs are in industries that are considered “in demand”. This means there are jobs available and the industry provides opportunities for career growth. Five of the current in-demand industries include but are not limited to:

• ADVANCED MANUFACTURING
• HEALTHCARE
• INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
• SKILLED TRADES
• TRANSPORTATION, DISTRIBUTION, & LOGISTICS

WorkSource Fulton Youth Services program provides year-round workforce training and education program for people 16-24 years old who are interested in employment and/or training and live in Fulton County. Participants must meet low-income guidelines and/or possess significant and defined barriers to education and employment. Programs and services include:

• Job readiness training
• GED and high school diploma assistance
• Paid work experience
• Transportation assistance
• Individualized occupational skills 
• Training & Employment assistance

Each center has access to partners that can provide additional resources to job seekers.
