Jeff DiSantis is the Deputy District Attorney overseeing the Media Relations Unit. In that role, he is responsible for keeping the public informed of the work of the District Attorney and the issues the office is handling that are of importance to the people of Fulton County.
Jeff is an attorney whose experience includes working in media relations for government officials and political candidates. He has served on the government staff of United States Senator Zell Miller and Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker, where he served as the primary media contact for the office. For a year after law school, he served as an intern in the White House Domestic Policy Council during President Bill Clinton’s term.
Jeff has also worked for candidates in 30 states running for a variety of offices, including President of the United States, United States Senator, Governor, United States Representative, Attorney General, District Attorney, and Mayor, as well as for a national political party committee. He has served as a campaign manager, media consultant, pollster, press spokesman, research director, and policy advisor. He also served as the executive director of the Democratic Party of Georgia.
In his private legal practice, he represented elected officeholders, candidates, party committees, and advocacy organizations before regulatory and enforcement agencies, including the Federal Election Commission, the U.S. House Ethics Committee, the Internal Revenue Service, the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission, and local bodies. He also handled matters for entities regulated by U.S., foreign and international law related to international trade, transnational financial transactions, and overseas offices and employees.
Jeff is a graduate of Emory University School of Law and the University of Georgia.
