The Fulton County Board of Health (FCBOH) serves nearly one million citizens who reside in Fulton County. Our health centers now include state-of-the-art clinics to serve our clients along with the Office of Vital Records located in the Fulton County Government Center.
List of WIC-Eligible Baby Formulas Expanded (June 2, 2022)
The Georgia Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program (WIC) has temporarily expanded the list of infant formulas that are available for redemption. WIC vouchers that allow some store-brand infant formula products will be issued to program participants. This is a continuing effort by Georgia WIC to offer flexibilities to WIC participants due to the nationwide formula shortage.
Recall Notice: Abbott Laboratories Formulas (February 28, 2022)
Abbott Laboratories is initiating a proactive, voluntary recall of powder formulas, including Similac®, Alimentum® and EleCare® manufactured at one of the company’s manufacturing facilities. No liquid formula products or any products from other facilities are impacted by the recall. (See attached recall notice if needed: https://www.similacrecall.com/us/en/home.html )
