Sheriff's Office Jr. Deputy Program

Sheriff's Office Jr. Deputy Program

The Sheriff’s Office Jr. Deputy Program gives youth the opportunity to build character while learning more about the justice system. Junior Deputies will be involved in activities that promote mental and physical wellness. Students will receive an introduction to CPR, experience a fire drill simulation at the Fulton County Jail, and learn about proper etiquette when approached by law enforcement.

This summer program typically takes place in June. When the program becomes active, the application will be available on this page. To be a part of this program the student must:

  • Be a resident or related to someone who works in or goes to a school in Fulton County.
  • Be 12 to 16-years-old.
  • Submit an essay and a recommendation letter from a school administrator.
  • Pay an application fee of $50.
