How will I be notified of bid solicitations?

We send email notifications based on the five digit National Institute of Governmental Purchasing codes used to identify the goods/services your business can provide. Bid solicitations are also posted on Fulton County's Website.

How can I receive a copy of a bid?

How can I view a previously awarded bid?

Previously awarded bids can be seen on the bid board.

What are the requirements for being able to bid on a solicitation?

There are no requirements for being able to bid on a solicitation. Vendors are encouraged to register their business with Fulton County using the Vendor Self Service system. Registering helps speed the payment process for goods and services provided to Fulton County.

What are the competitive requirements for the county?

Competitive requirements for the county are based on the final dollar amount.

• up to $2,499.99 - no bids or quotes required; competition is obtained whenever practical

• $2500 - $49,999.99 - minimum of five quotes must be obtained

• $50,000 or greater - Formal sealed invitation to bid or request for proposal

Does the county release the estimated cost of projects being bid?

No.

Must a company be based in Georgia to submit a bid or proposal?

No.

May I receive or send a bid package by fax?

No. Submission guidelines are listed in each solicitation.
