Alfred "Shivy" Brooks is a dedicated public school teacher with 13 years of experience, a committed father, and an active community leader. He currently serves as the Chair of the Education Committee for the Georgia NAACP and is also the founder of "Teachers for Good Trouble," where he is dedicated to reforming schools and creating safe, nurturing, and justice-driven school communities. Additionally, he cofounded the Bryce Brooks Foundation, which focuses on providing free swimming lessons for both adults and children and empowering teenagers through scholarships for lifeguard certification.
