Fulton County Recognizes Pollution Prevention Day

The Fulton County Department of Public Works and Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) are partnering for Pollution Prevention and Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at South Annex Service Center.

Fulton County Residents are invited to participate in this free drive and drop community event to safely and securely discard household hazardous waste materials and used or expired medications to prevent them from polluting our waterways.

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications.
