The film screening will highlight the unsung heroes and stories African-Americans in the struggle for civil rights and progress in America. Among the subjects of these films are Atlanta civil rights activist Rev. Hosea Williams, baseball in the Negro Leagues, how to trace genealogy through Oprah’s journey, and the life and legacy of Congressman John Lewis. This event is free and open to the public.
